Costco coming to Kellogg and Webb Road, Beechcraft CEO confirms

Beechcraft CEO Bill Boisture confirmed in an Aviation Week story Wednesday that a Costco store is coming to property at the south end of the Beechcraft campus in Wichita.

During a roundtable with Aviation Week editors, Boisture said Beechcraft’s former pistons plant, near the corner of Kellogg and Webb Road, is “on its way to becoming a Costco.”

According to the story, Boisture said the sale of Plant 3 and property at the campus’ south end will reduce Beechcraft’s so-called “square mile” on Wichita’s east side by about 20 percent.
