O’Reilly Auto Parts is in the process of opening its 12th store in Wichita.
This one will be in 7,100 square feet at 6505 E. 37th St. North, which is in the Brush Creekshopping center near the southeast corner of 37th North and Woodlawn.
“It’s still several months out,” says Mark Merz, a spokesman for the Springfield, Mo., company.
“We’re real excited to open another store in Wichita,” he says.
However, Merz says there’s not a lot of information to share yet.
“We don’t like to give much information this early,” he says.
“There’s no opening date planned. Hopefully, it’ll be towards the end of the year.”
Don Piros of Landmark Commercial Real Estate handled the deal.
Merz says O’Reilly likes to locate near areas with high traffic or a lot of professional customers.
“We’re always looking to … find great locations to provide services to our customers.”
