Craig Simon has taken over as the new marketing agent for the commercial space in the Eaton Place Apartments building downtown.
Simon is a commercial real estate broker with Landmark Commercial Real Estate.
He’s charged with filling four street-level spaces in the building, which sits at the southwest corner of Douglas and St. Francis.
The largest of those spaces is in the lower corner of the building. Simon says he is working to attract a bar and grill to the 7,589-square-foot space, which at one time was used as an events venue, because of its available kitchen space.
He says he has had some interest in that space in recent weeks, but nothing has been solidified yet.
Simon also is helping Slawson Cos. market 4,000 square feet of space in the Block 1 Marketplace near William and Broadway.
He also has had some interest there from some restaurant groups.
Those properties are in addition to the downtown sites Simon already markets, such as Exchange Place.
