Josh Waters, Esq.
Compliance Officer/Legal
Josh Waters joined the Landmark team in 2023 as Compliance Officer/Legal. He is a licensed attorney in Kansas and Arkansas and a licensed real estate salesperson in Kansas. Josh uses his experience in contracts law, property law, and real estate compliance to provide solutions and create value for Landmark and their customers and clients. He graduated from the University of Arkansas School of Law with his Juris Doctor and from Arkansas State University with a bachelor’s degree in economics, making the Chancellors and Deans lists at both universities for academic excellence.
Josh has practiced law for over 7 years, and before coming to Landmark provided legal, compliance, and operations work for the commercial division of a Wichita real estate company. Josh previously served as executive director, attorney, and lobbyist for an advocacy group of entities to support policies that improve lives, limit government, and help small businesses. He has experience as a legal extern with Walmart – Compliance and Lindsey Management Company, a national property management company. Josh maintains representation of outside clients in various legal matters.
A native of Arkansas, Josh now lives in Maize with his dog Winter. He enjoys traveling, spending time with family, reading, and cheering on the Arkansas razorbacks’ sports teams.
