Ted Branson, SIOR

Sr. Vice President & Industrial Division Director

Ted Branson has specialized in commercial and industrial real estate for 48 years. He began his career as a broker with Branson & Associates (B&A), Inc., a family-owned commercial brokerage and property management firm, where he worked alongside his father, the late Robert “Bob” Branson, until his passing in February 2002.

In April 2002, Ted opened the Wichita office for Coldwell Banker Commercial (Stucky & Associates), where he successfully grew the operation during a challenging market. Despite the owner’s eventual loss of the franchise in 2009 due to the housing market collapse, Ted’s perseverance laid the groundwork for a new opportunity. Having been in discussions with Landmark’s Brad Saville, Ted joined Landmark, completing the firm’s expansion into a full-service commercial, industrial, development, investment, and property management brokerage. Landmark has proven to be a great fit for Ted and his expertise in sales, leasing, consulting, and property valuation across all commercial real estate sectors.

Ted collaborates with a wide network of professionals—including brokers, developers, attorneys, contractors, engineers, and city officials—to meet the unique needs of each client. Past transactions include retail, office, warehouse, manufacturing, mini-storage, land, and investment properties, with transactions ranging from 1,000 sq. ft. to 500,000 sq. ft. and values in the tens of millions. His client base spans from small local businesses to large local, national and international companies.

The mission iof Ted’s new Industrial Division, including Roc Cyphert, Renda Robertson, Tate Brumfield, and John Potts, is to facilitate successful transactions even in challenging economic conditions. They listen closely to their clients, apply decades of experience, and leverage modern marketing strategies to deliver effective solutions. His new Industrial Division works to get clients’ properties successfully transacted in the least amount of time possible, streamlining marketing and transaction steps.

He has earned numerous sales and leasing awards, and has written articles in several industry publications, but he considers the satisfaction of helping clients achieve their goals most meaningful- whether meeting a need, pursuing a dream or building a livelihood to be the satisfaction of helping clients achieve their goals—whether meeting a need, pursuing a dream, or building a livelihood.

Ted graduated from Wichita State University in 1977 and is a member of NAR, KAR, WAAR, and the local CCIM chapter. He has two sons, Blake and Jeff, and is joyfully married to his wife, Rhonda. Ted enjoys time with his family, is active in his church and various ministries and enjoys playing guitar, singing, supporting constitutional government, and staying fit.
